Friends and patrons of the library:
No news = No October Friends meeting
but... please join us in the Concordia Community Center kitchen
at 6p.m on Tuesday October 2 to discuss forming a cooking club
Older teens (yes, teens are people too!) and adults are invited.
Hor d'oeuvres will be served. Come help us plan!
On July 11, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix opens in theaters.
On July 21, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is published.
July 31 is Harry's birthday!
Come in and guess the number of jellybeans in the jar to win the candy and your own copy of HP#7!!!!!!!
The beans will be counted on July 31.
Also on July 31, the winning name will be drawn from the "crack the code" jar and another copy of HP#7 will be given away!!!!!!!.

Those who crack the code and find an entry blank may fill it out for a chance to win the mystery prize drawing or may choose a "puzzling prize" instead.
What's the prize? There are clues posted in the library. Hint: July is Harry Potter Month

No worries! The first program of the summer reading season will be at the Community Center on Tuesday June 12.
Come on up to the second floor of the Community Center at 2p.m. Do the letters DDR mean anything to you???

Here are some clues to finding the next library program scheduled for Tuesday afternoon June 26 @ 2p.m:
The schedule for special event library programs for kids who are preschool age and up is a bit different than last year.
We are starting off the summer reading season with a special professional performer on Tuesday June 12.
NOT at the library but at the Concordia Community Center to have room for a larger crowd.
GET A CLUE ABOUT JUNIE B. JONES @ 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Concordia Community Center.
The rest of the programs WILL be at the library as in previous years.
On Tuesday June 26 at 10 a.m., we will GET A CLUE ABOUT DIGGING FOR DINOSAURS
On Tuesday July 10 at 10 a.m., we will GET A CLUE ABOUT FINGERPRINTS
On Tuesday July 24 at 10 a.m., we will GET A SKY HIGH CLUE (with special guest Nora Windmeyer)
